The aim of the journal is to provide content of the highest quality, authority, and accessibility. Particular emphasis is placed on the evaluation of new drugs and pharmacoeconomic models, but the journal also publishes economic analyses of all types of healthcare interventions and health policy initiatives, evaluations of methodologies, and analyses of pricing and reimbursement systems. The readership includes health economists, market access experts, and, more broadly, all those with an interest in pharmacoeconomics, health economics, health policy, and public health.
Publication fees: Upon acceptance of an article, authors are required to pay the Article Publication Charge (APC) of €1,485.00. The journal considers fee discounts and waivers for authors from developing countries on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to request a discount or waiver, please do so ahead of submission.
Fast-Track Review: A fast-track review option is available, providing peer-review comments within 10 business days of submission for an additional fast-track fee (€835).
